- Read given material and research industry-specific terminology
- Translate written documents created or collected for internal knowledge sharing
- Prepare subtitles for video tutorials and expert talks
- Review translated texts and ensure they convey original meaning and tone
- Define goals and set priorities for Junior Translators to do their best work
- Communicate risks and priorities to deliver high quality translation deliverables on time
- Provide interpretation during meetings, workshops or training
- Any other task related to translation and interpretation Qualifications
- Fluency in Chinese and English, both written and spoken
- 3+ years' experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role
- Degree in English, Literature, Linguistics and/or relevant fields
- Good knowledge of content editing tools (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Highly motivated, self-starting individual
- Ability to handle high quality work on aggressive schedules
- Passion for process and tools innovation
- Experience in managing language specific style guides and glossaries
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changes and different situations We would prefer if you have:
- Experience as a translation proofreader
- Prior translation team management or project management experience
- Knowledge/experience from game/movie/3D graphics industry
- Experience with Aegisub and its Automation
- Additional certification in Translation (e.g., CATTI)
