In this role, you have the opportunity to

As a Customer Screenings analyst at Fraud Investigations and Customer Screenings (FICS) of Philips Internal Audit you will participate, actively lead and contribute to FICS activities in your area for FICS to be the world class innovative due diligence function. Your main responsibility is to conduct end to end due diligence screenings in relation to Philips' third parties to identify possible strategic, operational and compliance risks.

You are responsible for

• Performing desktop searches in various sources and languages and report back in line with Philips procedures.
• Analyzing and determining compliance, legal, strategic, operational risks associated with third parties
• Interacting and engaging with different stakeholders during the Due Diligence Process
• Documenting findings and conclusions in line with the prescribed tools and methods
• Reporting the findings of the searches in line with Philips procedures and systems. Write clear and concise Customer Screening reports and report outcome to senior management
• Organizing of the activities that facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the Customer Screenings team
• Discussing findings, conclusions and recommendations with senior management
• Participating in continuous improvement of the customer screenings processes
• Assisting in fraud investigations

Your work location is Amsterdam

FICS has installed a customer screenings team to execute the Due Diligence Process in Philips and perform screenings (Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption due diligence) in order to address and mitigate the risks associated with third parties of Philips.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

To be suitable for this role you are recently graduated (university degree) in a relevant area ( Law, International Relations, Criminology, Enterprise Risk Management, etc.). You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You display a high level of integrity, stress resistance, flexibility and creativity.

Furthermore, you have:

• Excellent reporting and analytical skills;
• Strong Legal background and good understanding of Compliance/Criminal Law principles
• Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal (mandatory)
• Fluency in the Mandarin/Chinese language (mandatory)
• Knowledge of LEAN/continuous improvement is a strong asset
• Experience Level: 1-2 years
• International business experience and compliance/legal experience is a plus
