- Managing and supporting the processes, which contribute to the innovation and development in the important growth region China for the business line Catalysts
- Strategic planning, coordination and scientific management for chemical, technical and applied technology related projects in Greater China Region
- Management of important, complex and company wide R&D projects with a project team which consists of corporate employees, company internal and external cooperation partners
- Functional and disciplinary responsibility for laboratories in Shanghai based on the well -
- recognized and known expertise on the function's field of work
- Contact to important internal and external customers for the representation of the field of work, the products and the coordination of customer cooperations
- Project responsibility for important strategic projects and the set-up of strategic alliances
- Negotiation and signing of cooperation contracts with company internal and external partners within the approved budget
- ESHQ responsibility for the laboratories and pilot plants and responsibility to implement of a suitable subordinate organization
- Planning of the increase of personnel, including selection of personnel and cost responsibility
- Disciplinary and functional responsibility for a group of exempt and non-exempt employees
- Master or PhD, study chemistry, process engineering, chemical reaction engineering with focus on catalysis
- 5-10 years working experience in catalyst development or catalyst applied technology
- Strong knowledge in general catalysis
- Strong background in catalysis industry (precious catalyst) is a plus
- Solid ability on team management and lab management
- Fluent oral and written English
