You are beautiful and you deserve the best. Don’t let the racists in thisworld get to you!
We know our history. We know what they did, but shit isn’t going to change by bitching. We can discuss are past in an intelligent manner. It is important to know why we live in a racists world and why we have so many disadvantages, but after we gain the knowledge of our challenges and hardships we have to overcome them.
KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
Not only is important to understand your history and your people, being an educated person can better equip you to navigate the racists and unfair situations you will face as black men and women.
@AIN’TTHATSOMESHIT! @lyonbrave GET AN EDUCATION MY NIGGAS! MANY PEOPLE IN SHAKUR’S LIFE WERE INVOLVED WITH THE BLACK LIBERATION ARMY; SOME WERE CONVICTED OF SERIOUS CRIMINAL OFFENSES AND IMPRISONED, INCLUDING HIS MOTHER. TUPAC’S GODMOTHER, ASSATA SHAKURR ESCAPED FROM A PENITENTIARY IN NEW JERSEY IN 1979.
She had been imprisoned since 1977 for killing a state trooper in 1973. This was a time of extreme racism in America where a nigga could get shot just for being a nigga. I guess, some of this is till going on in present day..
With that being said, everyone needs a little help on there way to becoming independent.
For black people to be on their own two feet we do need help.
Historically and presently our people have had a tough time. WHITE PEOPLE PROBABLY DON’T WANT TO HELP YOU.
Our community should be helping each other get up, but right now instead of giving back to each other, we are too worried about getting got by each other. What’s the point of having friends, if you don’t help a nigga out? Niggas used to fight together not against each other.
TUPAC HAD THIS WEIRD SENSE HE WAS GOING TO DIE YOUNG AND THIS LED HIM TO MAKE THE MOST OF HIS TIME. MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR TIME.
My mama always used to tell me: ‘If you can’t find somethin’ to live for, you best find somethin’ to die for.’ Tupac Shakur
