THE MAKING OF ODYSSEUS AN INDIE MUSIC VIDEO!

Odysseus is an indie music video shot in Jeonju, South Korea. 

It is inspired by the main character Odysseus from the Odyssey. 

Odysseus has to leave his wife to fight in the Trojan War in the city of Troy. This story is also where the Trojan Horse comes from. He wins the war, but thinks it's because of his own merits and strengths and not the favor of the gods.

 Odysseus's hubris pisses off the god Poseidon who destroys his ship with fierce waters. This makes it near impossible for him to get him to his wife Penelope. 

On his journey home all his friends die and he ends up forgetting trying to get home for many years and seeks some solace from his hard journey with another woman. 

Finally, Perseus reminds Odysseus of his true goals and love and he continues his journey home where he has to kill many men and hide in disguise to regain the love of his wife.

 The Odyssey is my favorite story and this video explains why I was so inspired by the ODYSSEY it inspired a rap song. Please watch the video to find out more about the making of Odysseus!
