Lenovo Commercial Product Center (CPC) is a global team which support both SMB and Commercial segments. Our mission is to accelerate down the path of customer centricity by delivering the most compelling user experiences for all CPC products. We are also maximizing opportunities to create smarter innovations and support our customers' fast changing /AI needs as digital transformation continues.
The Strategic Cost Management team is one of the key functions within the CPC. This team drives the product cost competitiveness at strategic level thru close collaboration with Procurement, Portfolio / Product, Development and other supporting functions, as well as managing the cost accuracy and communication for all the Notebook Device. The position of Strategic Cost Management is to lead this team full of excellent talents to accomplish its mission.
This position requires basic computer literacy, good number sensitivity, project management skills, problem solving skills, and team leadership. Ability to identify key cost challenges through data analysis and be able to drive cost optimization. Working experience in electronic motherboard or mechanical parts development is preferred.
Job Description:
1)New NB product cost target set up to meet project new design requirement and business request.
2)Drive procurement team to meet new product cost target.
3)Continually improve product cost competitiveness in product lifecycle with leading cross functions cooperation
4)Deliver and communicate product cost with business operation teams.
5)Manage product cost analysis to support business decision.
6)Manage cost loading in system on time and accuracy and publish on time.
7)Lead cost optimization project management.
8)NB commodity cost management including CPU, Panel, SSD, Memory, WIFI, Battery, Adapter, Keyboard, touchpad, etc.
Product Strategic Cost Manager Requirement
1) Professional project cost management capability
2) NB mechanical and electronic cost relative technology
3) Conflict management and negotiation capability
4) Cost analysis and problem solve skills and leadership
5) Cost system methodology and cost tape management capability
6)Good command of English listening, speaking, reading and writing
