- Design and develop high volume data ingestion components and solutions to collect data from various sources.
- Build data integrations between on-prem/cloud-based systems.
- Manage and use appropriate tools in the cloud data lake development and deployment.
- Responsible for developing/implementing cloud infrastructure to support current and future business needs.
- Participating in technical design, application build, configuration, unit testing, and production deployment.
- Experience in Requirement Analysis, Problem diagnosis (Root Cause Analysis) and Problem resolution skills including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners.
- Preparation and maintenance of appropriate technical, compliance/Audit documentations
- Support existing data platforms and products in production for any critical issues and provide resolution fixes.
- Experience in Automation tools like AIRFLOW, AUTOSYS (any other job scheduler)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with programing languages on Python, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting.
- Hands on experience working in cloud data platforms such as AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, Spark based data engineering solutions.
- Expertise in Data Modeling and DB design with the skills in performance tuning.
- Experience with Agile software development methodology and version control systems like GitHub.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good documentation skills to maintain clear and organized project documentation.
- Knowledge on AI/ML programming, Databricks or Data Visualization is a plus.
- Knowledge on Financial Model Development is a plus.
