Job Summary
The consultant will substantively contribute to UN system coordination and provide strategic research data analysis and advocacy support for UN Women China specifically managing day-to-day secretariat functions of UNGTG overseeing implementation monitoring and reporting of its workplan supporting joint initiatives campaigns joint programmes UNSDCF for ChinaResponsibilities
- Undertake research analysis contribute to normative change advocacy on key policy programmatic priority areas
- Conduct desk research lead on drafting advocacy materials including speeches talking points op-eds scripts country representative senior leadership
- Support programme development drafting concept notes preparing background papers conducting research data analysis close coordination relevant programme partnership teams Provide analytical inputs coordination support finalize update Common Country Analysis develop gender equality country profile line GEAP needed Contribute UNSystem Coordination Portfolio line UNSDCF implementation UN Women China Strategic Note
