    In China We own the end-to-end payment experience for China customer and focus on the payment methods coverage, payment CX improvement, and cross border payment solutions.

    We seek an innovative, customer-centric, and results-driven individual to join our Amazon team as a Program Manager.

    This candidate will be responsible for running the Amazon Payment product and programs for China business, driving the payment experience improvement and evolution for both individual customers and sellers, managing the relationship with payment partners, and payment compliance management.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Drive the payment experience evolution by delivering new payment product to customer
    • Identify payment experience gap and initiate projects to improve
    • Manage relationship with payment partners to maintain and improve payment performance, reduce cost of payment
    • Cooperate with business team and payment partners to launch payment marketing programs
    • Monitor payment related regulation/policy trend and change, work closely and pro actively with internal stakeholders, such as Legal/Public Policy/Compliance, and external partners to manage the compliance requirement and risk
    • Work with payment operation team and Tech team to solve payment issues

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 6+ years of program or project management experience
    • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
    • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
    • Strong stakeholder management skills to effectively work with a variety of stakeholders and leadership, both internal and external
    • Strong analytical skills: ability to use data and metrics to drive performance
    • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically, with a high degree of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
    • A motivated self starter who can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision
    • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous and highly complex problems.
    In particular, identifying customer needs and developing/executing action plans

    • A fast learner who is able to quickly learn the business and think strategically about emerging needs and opportunities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
    • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
    • Payments industry knowledge preferred
    • Project Management experience preferred
    • Online/technology experience preferred
    • Background in cross border e commerce
