- Extraction of data from 3D models generated in any major 3D authoring software packages.
- Data cleansing of extracted model data and updating models.
- Appending progress measurement attributes and data back into 3D models.
- 3D model attribute analysis and reporting.
- Implementation, administration and maintenance of quantity control systems and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, and forecasts for projects of medium and high complexity and value through clients' 3D models.
- Preparation and review of cost estimate quantities in comparison to 3D models.
- Provide quantity information to support client decision making.
- Provide forecasts, trending and quantity analysis.
- Manage the quantification report and provide regular updates on current position.
- Assist in the development, validation and maintenance of the project schedule aligned to the 3D model.
- Develop reporting tracking tools and generate reports.
- Build intricate spreadsheets to enable fast and accurate data manipulation of large datasets.
- Extract data from several sources, transforming it to fit operational needs.
- Reconcile data to support complete accuracy and create a clean audit trail.
- Knowledge management – Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.
- Team development – Sourcing and train junior 3D model technicians with QuanTTum capability.
- Recognized bachelor degree, preferable in Quantity Surveying / Engineering / Cost Management / Construction Management.
- Up to 5 years of experience in BIM / 3D modelling or similar disciplines.
- Knowledges in Oil & Gas / Mining / Chemical highly preferable.
- Experience with Navisworks, Autodesk / Bentley / other design software, SmartPlant3D preferable.
- Membership in RICS or Chinese registered cost engineer preferable.
- Programming language experience ( Python) and Power BI experience preferable.
- Experience in utilizing Excel advanced level, and high skilled in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good command of written and spoken English with good report writing skills.
