- Conduct new product cost estimation to support business case study at early project stage;
- Work with commodity managers for new parts supplier proposal, conduct RFQ, supplier benchmark & supplier risk assessment;
- Lead supplier selection alignment with local or global cross function teams for each new project;
- Maintain sourcing plan: identify sourcing risks, gaps and mitigation plan (cost/quality/ delivery/terms...);
- Ensure new project supply chain related KPI (cost, lead time, PPAP, contract, etc.) meet PRD target;
- Supplier management throughout development phase with commodity support on quality, cost, delivery, commercial terms, etc.;
- Support prototype/ECS/MCS building, monitor supplier quality & delivery;
- Support supply chain quality process, including PPAP and Procert effort;
- Supply chain readiness support for smooth product transition from R&D phase to factory mass production;
- FAPness support;
- Ensure each project follow QRB/PRB process;
- Provide regular project report to management, supply chain & project teams, prepare & present PRB/QRB reviews;
- Coordinate sourcing activities for reginal new project with synergy factories SCM;
- Continous new project sourcing process/ purchasing process improvement.
- BA/BS degree, MBA preferred
- Over 5 years of experience in Sourcing or supply chain program management, HVAC industry preferred, engineering plus sourcing background preferred.
- Familiar with product development process
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience interacting with suppliers&RD engineer
- Good communication with cross-function and cross-region internal stake holders and customers;
- Experience in supplier selection and new supplier development
- Strong ethics awareness & highest level of honesty, openness and integrity in all aspects of work.
