Main Responsibility:
1. Controllership
Assure that accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with accounting policies, chart of accounts and related accounting principles and practices.

Develop, interpret, implement and monitor policies and procedures, ensure financials are reported in compliance with both US GAAP and PRC GAAP.

Ownership of account reconciliation process to maintain integrity of general ledger and sub-legers. Assess adequacy of reserves and overall financial reporting.

Ensure adequate training and oversight is provided to all finance personnel to ensure account reconciliations meet requirements. Provide leadership and support for the Balance Sheet Review process.

Review, analyze and evaluate financial data and information for accuracy, consistency and transparency. Maintain integrity of financial reports.

Working with Corporate Tax to compliant with headquarter and local tax requirements

2. Operations Finance (Cost Controls)
Lead the development of standard costs to establish an acceptable base for measuring product cost, expense control, and plant performance

Establish and monitor the overall cost and resource allocation, cost frame, forecast and result. Responsible for accurate and timely monthly cost reporting and analysis

Provide leadership to ensure adequate cost accounting processes are in place, including standard cost updates, physical inventory verification, periodic cycle counts, etc. Control and maintain adequate product costing systems for valuation and cost estimating activities.

Evaluate and approve CapEx requests prior to upper level management approval. Monitor and report purchase commitments and spending for all capital programs. Conduct follow-up audits to ensure compliance for all significant capital investments.

3. Team Management and Leadership
Supervise a team of 5 employees (accountants and analysts).

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum 8-12 years of finance or accounting experience obtained from in manufacturing MNC's.

Minimum 5 years working as plant controller or controller in manufacturing industry. Current experience as plant controller is a big plus.

Demonstrated skills leading & developing associates directly or indirectly

Demonstrated collaborative experience with all functions.

CPA / CMA / or equivalent professional certificate is a plus
