Job Summary

Responsible for performing the highly skilled, discipline specific, tasks required to ensure the smooth operation of Universal Beijing Facilities as it pertains to all industrial, commercial, and non-commercial plumbing equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.

Major Responsibilities

According to relevant laws, regulations, and standards, implement correct safety operation procedures such as confined space operations, climbing operations, and chemical operations during the maintenance and repair of plumbing system, and be able to promptly identify and report safety hazards.

Maintain all facility plumbing systems in accordance with all applicable codes, standards, and UBR specifications to ensure the continuous smooth operation of UBR. Including, but not limited to direct drinking water, softened filtered water, tap water, reclaimed water, sanitary, storm, show special effect water, landscape water, hot water, chilled water, and natural gas piping, etc.

Maintain, service and repair all UBR plumbing systems, including, but not limited to water closets; urinals; sinks; faucets; drinking fountains; and all associated piping by complying with all Plumbing codes and regulations. Perform all plumbing utility locates and/or leak detection using the appropriate method. Inspect and maintain records of all changes to current infrastructure, including, but not limited to natural gas, sanitary, storm, and water supply systems.

Maintain, service and repair all UBR infrastructure, including, but not limited to water supply lines; sanitary lines; storm water lines; grease traps; pump stations; interceptors; oil separators; septic tanks and infiltration ponds. Operate large cable commercial sewer machines and high-pressure line jetting equipment.

Maintain, service and repair all potable water systems as it pertains to UBR Facilities, including, but not limited to water softeners; filters; water heaters; potable backflow preventers; circulating pumps, tempering valves; mixing valves; high pressure fog/mist lines; nozzles and pumps; and all related potable infrastructure.

Maintain, service and repair UBR natural gas systems, including, but not limited to, all above ground and below ground pipes, valves, and fittings. Perform all leak and cathodic protection surveys. Locate underground gas piping using line locate equipment as needed. Utilize appropriate leak detection equipment to identify and locate underground gas leaks.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

More than 3-year experience in Plumbing Operation/Maintenance, understand plumbing system Operation/Maintenance/troubleshooting.

Night shift for prolonged period.

Ability to read equipment and system drawings.

Preliminary equipment failure analysis and operation capability.

Self-motivated, good teamwork spirit, communication skill and safety awareness.

Education

Technical school or above.

Major: Plumbing, Mechanical/Electrical.

Plumbing qualification certificate, Certificate of low voltage is preferred.
