Job Overview
The role involves executing specialized tasks essential for the efficient functioning of plumbing systems within Universal Beijing Resort's facilities, encompassing all types of plumbing infrastructure, utilities, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards by implementing proper operational procedures during plumbing maintenance and repairs. This includes confined space operations, climbing tasks, and handling chemicals, while being vigilant in identifying and reporting any safety hazards.
Ensure all plumbing systems are maintained in compliance with applicable codes and UBR specifications. This includes systems for drinking water, reclaimed water, sanitary and storm drainage, as well as various piping infrastructures.
Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all plumbing fixtures and systems, including but not limited to toilets, sinks, faucets, and associated piping, while adhering to plumbing codes and regulations. Perform utility locates and leak detection using appropriate methods, and maintain records of any changes to existing infrastructure.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of all plumbing infrastructure, including water supply lines, sanitary and storm lines, grease traps, and septic systems. Operate commercial sewer machines and high-pressure jetting equipment as necessary.
Manage the upkeep of potable water systems within UBR Facilities, including water softeners, filters, heaters, and backflow preventers, ensuring all related infrastructure is in optimal condition.
Handle the maintenance and repair of natural gas systems, including both above and below ground piping, valves, and fittings. Conduct leak detection surveys and utilize appropriate equipment to locate any underground gas leaks.
Perform additional tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of three years of experience in plumbing operations and maintenance, with a solid understanding of plumbing systems and troubleshooting.
Willingness to work night shifts for extended periods.
Ability to interpret equipment and system schematics.
Skills in preliminary equipment failure analysis and operational capabilities.
Self-motivated with strong teamwork, communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
Educational Background
Completion of technical school or higher education.
Preferred majors include Plumbing, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines.
Possession of a plumbing qualification certificate and a low voltage certificate is advantageous.
