- Participate in design, development and implementation of new assays to support drug discovery.
- Develop and implement biochemical and cell-based assays, conduct HTS and perform routine assay for compound profiling.
- Interprets results and presents within and outside LD.
- Oversee potential partnerships with external resources including CROs.
- Coordinates cross-functional efforts to meet near-term or long-term project goals.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of cutting-edge science in Lead Discovery and constantly upgrades relevant skillsets.

The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join Biochemistry and cellular pharmacology group in Lead Discovery. The exact position offered will depend on the candidate's experience level. The candidate will be involved in our lead ID efforts in collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams. This individual will
independently implement novel assays including biochemical and cell-based assays. He/she will conduct biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology studies in assay development, screening, hit to lead, and lead optimization. He/she will be responsible for data interpretation and communication with project teams.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology, and experience in assay development, screening and data analysis. The successful candidate will have excellent instrumentation skills, communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal skills and problem-solving degree plus > 2 years of professional/industrial experience in research or drug discovery/development.
