- with the China .NET Chapter where you will interact with .NET software engineers and benefit from technical expertise
- with the "Green-by-Design" strategic initiative team which works to reduce the Volvo Group Digital & IT software environmental footprint.
- Pair with an intern in France for the internship.
- Working with DealerPoint development team(Stable Team) as well as the trainee in France to analysis source code
- Produce a report providing recommendations on how to improve the DealerPoint environmental footprint (highlighting implementation complexity vs gain)
- Present your findings with different teams (.NET chapters located in France and China, DealerPoint architects and tech leads, DealerPoint DPOs)
- Join the 'Green by Design' guild, understand what has been done with the pilots involved in this initiative and identify what can be reused or done for DealerPoint (especially measurement tools) and contribute to the guild sharing your findings.
- Student in a software engineering school looking for at least 3-months-internship (core timeslot is from mid-June to mid-Sept, to pair with trainee in France)

The product, at the heart of the internship is an application used by Volvo Trucks dealers, DealerPoint (more than 5000 users across the world). The DealerPoint team is currently working on the modernization of DealerPoint with a stepwise approach. Different technologies are used today (.NET, Angular...)
You will work with the DealerPoint development team (Stable Team) in China, pair with a trainee based in France and Green-by-Design strategic initiative team.
