    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Monolithic Power Systems. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our sustainability initiatives and contributing to our mission to reduce our environmental footprint.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) analyst to develop and implement sustainability strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.
    • Lead Sustainability Initiatives: Manage and achieve our corporate emissions reduction goals through 2030, ensuring we meet our sustainability targets and reduce our environmental impact.
    • Develop Energy Efficiency Strategies: Work with our system owner, architect, and MEP design engineers to develop and implement energy and water efficiency strategies, including high-performance HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and electrical and lighting systems.
    • Implement Waste Reduction Programs: Develop and implement waste reduction programs, increasing recycling rates and reducing waste disposal costs.
    • GHG Emissions Inventory: Establish and maintain a scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions inventory for our China facilities, ensuring accurate and reliable data for our sustainability reporting.
    • Green Building Certification: Provide support for green building certification, including LEED, WELL, LBC, and RESET.
    • Facilities Data Management: Manage and analyze facilities' operational data through our centralized platform, identifying trends and outliers to inform our sustainability initiatives.
    • Renewable Energy Initiatives: Manage renewable energy initiatives, including energy forecasting and modeling to inform our renewable energy investments.
    • Research and Development: Research and stay up-to-date on innovative technologies, voluntary rating standards, codes, and industry trends to inform our sustainability strategies.
    • ESG Reporting: Collect and summarize sustainability-related project data, providing support for our annual ESG report.
    • ESG Audits: Work with government or clients to complete ESG audits, carbon emission verification, and other related tasks.
    • Other EHS Responsibilities: Assist with other EHS-related work, including customer audits and ISO system audits.

    Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
    • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sustainability or EHS-related work, preferably in a foreign IC company.
    • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with a strong understanding of sustainability-related knowledge and ESG frameworks.
    • Skills: Excellent project management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to business travel and changing priorities.
