    Objectives:

    • Drive ECR Refinish China local strategic Marketing topics including Refinish strategy, sustainability, and act as a source of Market Intelligence.
    • Work with global and RBU Marketing on Refinish Strategy work or localize the global/RBU Strategy to China.
    • Act as a source of intelligence on China Automotive refinish market trends, competitors and etc.
    • Ambassador for sustainability in ECR China. Drive sustainability by working with relevant colleagues and partners leveraging our sustainability performance to strengthen BASF's reputation with key stakeholders.

    Main Tasks:

    Strategy:

    • Support LMM to drive China Refinish strategy development with key stakeholders and support the database, slide deck preparation, alignment coordination and implementation communication.
    • Deep understand and analyze the refinish market, industrial trend, the impact to business development.
    • Coordinate key stakeholders and external resources to regularly update the China Refinish Market study.
    • Track and push the strategic plan implementation.

    Market intelligence:

    • Own and update the MRD database for China Refinish market. Work collaboratively with global and RBU Market intelligence team to manage market size, market share database, maintain competitor landscape.
    • Be responsible for market intelligence collection by desk searching, customer visit and market scouting and 3rd party report etc. and share with different functions.
    • Be responsible for monthly Market Intelligence report update.
    • Close collaboration with PS&R and TM team on the regulation topic to bring the potential change to internal relevant functions for early preparation and development plan.
    • Provide with some guidance and suggestions according to industrial trend or market intelligence.

    Sustainability:

    • Be the window person of Sustainability topic of ECR China. Get trained by global / RBU marketing on Sustainability topics and understand our sustainability value proposition.
    • Be in contact with all relevant stakeholders and take part in internal and external networks to learn more China sustainability topics.
    • Guide and train sales force in the customer dialog on sustainability topics and sustainability selling
    • Localize the global sustainability slide deck for China business purpose.
    • Drive key sustainability action fields or projects in the area of Marketing.
    • Work in close collaboration with internal and external partners of ECR and functions, supporting implementation of relevant initiatives, and generating content for communication
    • Ensure continuous learning with respect to sustainability
    • Education: Master's degree in Marketing or Business Administration, ideally with a Strategy and Marketing focus
    • Min. 5 years of professional experience in marketing preferably in the automotive refinish industry. Strong network connection in Automotive industry is preferred.
    • Advanced in analytical and reporting tools (PowerBI, Thinkcell, Power Automate, etc.)
    • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, fluence in both English and Chinese is a must
    • Selfdriving, intercultural understanding to effectively execute complex projects and collaborative with multiple internal stakeholder
    • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to create effective, deep and successful working relationships across all levels of the organization
    • Strong project management, facilitation as well as influencing skills
    • Personal passion for sustainability
    • High motivation to achieve success together as a team, customeroriented working style as well as creativity and innovation capability
