    Responsibilities:


    • Product development and improvement:

    Uses tire engineering design standards to develop new products and support Applied and Functional projects.

    Supports implementation of new products in production and maintenance activities.

    Improves and enhances problem solving strategies.


    • Process:

    Makes improvements to or enhances current processes and tools within functional group.


    • Technology:

    Implement latest technologies in product development to ensure premium performance

    Improves and enhance documentation of the created knowledge.


    • Standards:

    Ensure product conformity to internal, external and legal standards.

    Knows, improves and enhance design guidelines/standards and best practices.

    Requirements:


    • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics or any related fields is required (Master's degree in engineering, physics or any related fields is desired)


    • Computer design and modeling experience desired (catia V5, solidworks or similar)


    • Product Design Experience desired.


    • Knowledge in Statistical tools (minitab...), basic programing (VBA) is an asset


    • MS Office (World, Excel, Power Point).


    • Ability to define and execute projects within a multi-cultural team.


    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


    • Sense of responsibility, stress resistant and flexible.


    • Showing initiative – Being proactive.

    Fluency in Chinese & English is a must

    Korean or Japanese is an advantage but not required
