    Direct Material (BOM) purchasing is one of most meaningful tasks in supply chain department to support BMMC/EBIC Operations manufacturing our products to satisfy customer demand. We need a capable and energetic leader with open mind and abundant momentum to lead and empower BOM buyers and specialists collaborating with cross functions groups of BMMC/EBIC, AP and Global to ensure material availability and inventory with optimized Key Performance Measurements achievement to gain business growth.

    In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • To take full responsibility for BOM materials availability to support production to meet customer demand.
  • To draw up purchasing plan based on Customer Order and Master Scheduling Plan, to place PO and follow up till material arrival at company.
  • To implement and optimize BOM material purchasing processes with both domestic suppliers, overseas suppliers and Interco sites
  • To set up/contribute/achieve KMI goals of purchasing service (Request/Promise Date Service Level)
  • Lead BOM buyer group to minimize material shortage probability and optimize inventory control, to meet and continuously improve critical metric goals of Total ITO and RAW Inventory
  • To be responsible for materials forecast communication and review with suppliers timely and optimally. To ensure supplier delivery performances being consistently meet our expectations.
  • To lead team to work with suppliers on continuous improvement of overall performance by collaborating with groups of IPO, SPE, and Global Commodity Manger
  • To lead procurement team to continuously improve work process efficiency, to optimize system purchasing parameters set up, adopt and develop new Oracle application tools by aligning and collaborating with Global and AP supply chain organization
  • To lead development thru approaches of recruitment, training, mentor to make entire team be proficient to meet company strategic business growth need with successful culture transferring

    To meet this role request, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, majoring manufacturing engineering, international trade or procurement/logistics
  • Good customer service, good communication skill and strong leadership;
  • Good capability and experience for project execution, result driven and process improvement;
  • Proficient English in speaking, listening, writing and reading, can host English teleconference/WebEx/Teams;

    • Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Master or be familiar with ERP system(Oracle or others) and digital software applications is helpful
  • Having manufacturing engineering background and procurement management experience is helpful
  • Leadership experience by supervising group of 10+ office staff is preferred
