    We are looking for an Education Services Specialist to join our team in Shanghai, China. Education Services Specialist will be responsible for owning and promoting the portfolio of NI training courses and certification program to customers in the allocated region.

    The Education Services Specialist is a core role within our business, helping to ensure that customers who purchase our hardware and software platforms are trained suitably to utilise their full functionality. As well as working closely with our customers and advising on the best course or certification to complete, this role also works in collaboration with wider regional departments to help ensure that we have the right resources to deliver the right courses. The Education Services Specialist is the central point of contact for all Education Services related matters and will therefore work closely with the Global Training Delivery Manager on strategy input, and on business plans to ensure delivery of Education across the region. The ideal candidate will be goal oriented and results driven with the ability to work accurately and with attention to detail. A strong sense of Customer Service, as well as proficiency in both written and verbal communications, will be required to help articulate the customers' needs and to promote the benefits of the training courses we are offering.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    Ownership of Education Services:

    Be the owner and central contact point for Education Services; create and maintain a business plan and significantly contribute to strategy

    Take ownership of all activities including delegated responsibilities between customer and internal teams to ensure that all courses are delivered successfully

    Participate in, and contribute to, regular internal training & meetings

    To act as a subject matter expert for Education Services within the business to educate and provide recommendations to teams that you interact with including Customer Service Operations, Inside Sales and teaching resources.

    Own and maintain course logistics and scheduling

    Generate requests for quotations by e-mail/ SFDC to Quotes Team

    Following up quotations that have been generated and progressing the sale

    Approval and set up of all NEW Education Services training events

    Generate the training schedule for the respective region.

    Training Schedule ownership & management: confirmation/cancellation of public in-person courses

    Interaction with the customers to organize courses at customers' site (private/onsite events)

    Interaction with external instructors in terms of engagement for public and private courses & payment management

    Monitoring budgets and costs associated with the Education Services function

    Creating PO for all regional Education Services expenses

    Assessment/management of customer training needs

    Survey collection, review and communication to internal and external stakeholders

    Setting up training rooms for public training courses.
