Job summary
Monitor specimen collection and processing to ensure quality of specimen before testing. Prepares reagents according to prescribed procedures.

Responsibilities
- Verifies test results prior to release.
- Maintains test equipment following established procedures.
Qualifications
PCR license should be provided if doing PCR tests .
evaluates and solves problems related to collection and processing of biological specimens for analysis.
Differentiates technical causes of problems or unexpected test results.
An understanding of the underlying scientific principles of laboratory testing as well as the technical procedural problem-solving aspects - A general comprehension of health disease factors recognizing importance proper test selection numerous causes discrepant results deviation result confidentiality correlating abnormal data with pathologic states determines validity need additional tests - Understands enforces safety regulations. other qualifications listed below are mandatory except where indicated otherwise by a ".noquote" attribute./a>
