    Main Accountabilities

    R&D Design/Deploy Microbiology for cosmetics:
    1. Proactively lead a microbiology work programme for preservation system design

    2. Formula Microbiological Design and Risk Assessment;
    3. Raw Materials Risk Assessment;
    4. Microbiology Specifications setup;
    5. Process Design and Validation;
    6. Preservative Efficacy Testing;
    7. Safety and Stability Challenge Tests;
    8. Antimicrobial Efficacy Testing;
    9. Pilot Plant and Factory Validations;
    10. Hygienic Design Validations and Sanitation, Disinfection, and CIP Validations;
    Supply chain microbiology for execution:
    1. Microbiology Hygiene design, HACCP Training
    2. Microbiological Incident Support
    3. Audit Support for high risk Factory, Supplier, Co-packers

    Capability building:

    1. New microbiology methods development for claim support

    2. New microbiology standard with authorities for business needs

    3. Drive the implementation of digital tools to allow future fit data capture and modelling.

    Key Skills

    1. Degree in Applied Microbiology with 5-10 years' experience in cosmetics.

    2. Proficient Microbiology laboratory skills, strong understanding of microbiological safety by design principles, HACCP, sanitation, factory equipment hygiene.

    3. Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese, written and oral;

    4.Demonstrate strong passion to work in Microbiology for FMCG company;

    5. Can work in fast paced environment on diverse tasks with varying priorities and demands;

    6. Excellent team player and cooperation, and strong sense of personal accountability.
