- Develop technical knowledge and skills in the area of retirement.
- Actively support sales or generate leads for non-traditional actuarial solutions, i.e. pension administration, pension brokerage, etc.
- Maintain clients relationship on a day-to-day basis by generating broader HR dialogues and identify qualified needs.
- Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes.
- Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels.
- Deliver projects to meet or exceed client expectations and internal PE requirements.
- Influence and encourage internal teams and leaders to think more broadly about our offering to clients.
- Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by supplying information for proposals.
- Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in actuarial science or any other related university training
- Proven experience successfully delivering multiple projects with quality on time and within budget
- Strong analytical and integrative skills including ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic way
- Interest and ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how one's work fits into the broader landscape
- Proven ability to deliver new engagements and new revenue under limited guidance
- Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
- FSA, ASA or IFoA credentials (or local country equivalent) a major advantage
