We are looking for a Bilingual Physics Teacher for an International School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from August 2024 academic year.

Located in Minhang District, this bilingual boarding school for children aged 6-18 merges the Chinese national curriculum with the International Baccalaureate. Job responsibilities

Teach Physics subjects to students in secondary education utilizing the IGCSE and A-Level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
Assess and monitor students' progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

Qualified Teacher status with 3-5 years of teaching experience
Ability to teach one or two science subjects
Willingness to teach across 3-4 grade levels
Knowledge of world-class science curriculums, including UK and International, and their assessment methods
Proficiency in addressing individual needs through differentiated instruction and diverse learning strategies
Fluent in English and Chinese

Monthly salary of 12,000 to 24,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
