- Plan, lead and drive all the project activities (technical & development activities, project status reporting to monthly project review meeting (PCM), lead weekly cross functional project team meeting (PTM),
- Identify and resolve resource planning issues across project.
- Produce multi-branded documentation on novel systems, solutions, and projects according to standards,
- Guide testing in house and on site for novel solutions, resolving problems as they arise, to provide intended test data and reports from experimental design and then determine necessary next actions from the results, making appropriate recommendations.
- Undertakes or supports complex analysis of test data from own work or from other team members or from other research to derive conclusions, recommendations and/or new product design iterations.
- Develops new ideas and solutions for a given product to enable the overall product to meet specification and costs and reliability.
- Responsible for providing first and second level Technical Support for a given range of products or features within products,
- Support and improve existing products by stimulating cross-functional co-operation and team building, responsible for the engineering change mechanism and selecting product improvement projects to reduce warranty costs,
- Ensures that all areas under their direct control are conducted and work in a safe and effective manner in compliance with the Company's Health and Safety policy and ensure that the requirements under Section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work Act are met.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Engineering Technology or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
- You have 5+ years of experience in Engineering design on machnical.
- You know vacuum pump/vacuum systems or rotating equipment and design applications concepts.
- you have experience in dealing with the transition goals/processes and can implement strategies for controlling change and helping the team to adapt.
- You have experience managing design/project initiatives and associated support staff.
- You have experience in developing policies and procedures.
- You know CAD, 3D_Inventor
- You know CAE modelling techniques, such a clearance or FEA.
- You are fluent in English, as this is the language for communication in the Group
