- To lead the end to end finance function for the China & Hong Kong entities including, AP, AR, Treasury, Reporting, and Tax among other things. This role serves as the main finance PIC for Teleport's stakeholders that are based in Hong Kong and is instrumental in ensuring that the finance department is running smoothly;
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and full set of accounts, has experience with different reporting standards and efficient ways of getting the information fast and accurate;
- To ensure the China & Hong Kong books are closed on time with minimal errors;
- To be able lead and manage statutory compliance with all HK tax laws and regulations. This includes preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and maintaining records and documentation; Identifying and managing tax risks that may impact the company's financial performance or reputation;
- To be a capable business partner to all stakeholders and provide financial advice and solutions to issues within the finance scope;
- Able to identify key areas of weaknesses within the current processes and provide suggestions for improvements; Having experience in an audit capacity with multiple systems and initiating improvements and changes
- Work closely with business and enabler leaders, to understand how operations impacts the business and ensure business and operations team are aligned with our long term goal and objective;
