- Provide technical support in the development and implementation of customer applications dealing with MicroSense products and features, thereby enabling product penetration/adoption at customer facilities. This includes investigating semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and providing metrology solutions; creating & sharing product value statements and use cases with engineering, marketing, and sales groups; and training customers and other applications engineers.
- Analyze tool performance and work in a team with KLA CSEs and TSEs organization on problem-solving on KLA MicroSense tools. Work on complex problems and develop unique solutions to meet customers' requirements.
- Characterization of next-generation state-of-the-art semiconductor tools. This includes designing test plans, collecting data, performing analysis, and publishing results and recommendations in the form of application notes and best-known methods.
- Conduct new tool demonstrations to showcase tool performance and develop use cases to help drive tool sales.
- Ph.D. degree, Masters with 2-4 years, or Bachelors with 3-5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related fields.
- Ability to perform complex data/image analysis using a combination of Excel, Matlab, Python, JMP or other data-analysis tools.
- Background in Applications Engineering in IC processing/Semiconductor equipment is strongly desirable.
- Ability to independently resolve complex problems.
- Strong presentation and project management skills
- Must have excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. The candidate will be required to frequently present results to internal as well as external customers.
