Job Summary

As a member of the full-time fire safety management team of UBR, under the leadership of the assistant fire safety manager, responsible for the implementation of fire laws and regulations, master fire knowledge and skills, complete the job on time, to ensure the realization of relevant quality objectives.

Major Responsibilities

• Assist fire safety assistant manager to formulate rules, regulations and plans for fire safety management according to relevant provisions of the Fire Protection Law, and supervise their implementation.

• Participate in the formulation of fire safety system and measures according to fire safety regulations and company fire safety management requirements, and be responsible for checking and implementing fire safety measures.

• Work with emergency management team to formulate fire emergency evacuation plans and organize regular fire drills.

• Assist fire safety assistant manager to manage the daily operation, personnel training, drills and supervision of the micro fire station.

• Establish fire-fighting emergency plan, go to the scene immediately when fire alarm or fire occurs, and assist in the organization of fighting and rescue.

• Support the inspection, repair and maintenance of fire-fighting facilities, equipment of mini fire stations, so that they are always in good condition, and timely deal with and report problems once been found.

• Responsible for assisting TS department to handle the approval procedures of fire-fighting facilities in the reconstruction project and fire safety supervision on the construction site.

• Cooperate with fire, emergency and other government departments, including but not limited to inspection, audit, certificate acquisition, etc.

• Participate in the response and disposal of fire safety incidents of relevant businesses, eliminate fire safety risks.

• Implement quarterly self-assessment of fire safety conditions.

• Cooperate with government regulatory authorities.

• Cooperate with business team to carry out daily safety publicity, training and drills, and promote the implementation of fire safety responsibilities of business departments.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Industry experience: at least 5 years' experience in fire safety management, theme park or relevant team management experience is preferred;

• Leadership: possess strong team commanding skill. He/she shall have a proven record of team development and coaching/commanding;

• Other relevant background: he/she should be familiar with national safety, fire related national and local laws and regulations, with related qualification is preferred;

• Communication: he/she shall possess a strong communication skill that he/she is able to work with wider team in the company, and to bring visions and cultural influences on internal and external parties. He/she shall also have good presenting skill in order to report working progress with accuracy and clarify to management and other stakeholders;

• Working ethics: driven for result, can-do attitude, able to obtain facts and data within required time, able to work with colleagues from multi-culture environment, able to work under pressure if needed.

• Personality: mature, independent, critical thinking, resilient but stick to principle once challenged, willing to provide help, and openminded for new ideas/POVs;

• Computer applications: must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint);

• Language: Fluent in Chinese, with English capability is preferred.
