- Acting as topic owner responding for HiL, MiL and SiL project.
- Leading and guiding testing team to delivery customer project.
- Planning and setup of test environments for various automotive electronics systems.
- Interact with various ECUs via CAN, LIN and automotive ethernet.
- Understanding of vehicle control systems knowledge. Examples include NEV, Advanced Chassis, Body (any one domain)
- Experience with CAN Communication Bus (standards, system architecting, and implementation).
- Experience with Quality Engineering deliverables
- Work with integration engineers to identify, generate and implement test cases and validation criteria for a system under test.
- Work with Test managers to configure test setups and test runs according to the test plan
- Work with integration to design and build test benches to test and validate and high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Work with the relevant engineers to meet diagnostic coverage requirements.
- Troubleshoot various systems and ECUs.
- Develop test automation, automate test tools, generate, and improve automation scripts.
- Run tests at various levels of integration, document and report test results
- Document and track issues as appropriate and participate in triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
- Ability to lead project.
- Excellent communication and good customer approach.
- English communication both written and oral
- Good understanding of OEM product line
- The resource should have minimum 3 to 5 years of function testing experience in chassis/powertrain/EV domain and good using experience on mainstream toolchain like dSPACE, NI, Vector, TPT, ECU-Test, etc.
- Should have scripting experience in CAPL, Python, C, C# and The Mathworks Products
- Knowledge & experience in CAN Protocol, Diagnosis (KwP, UDS), ISO 14229.
- Should have skills in Identifying and resolving issues by analysing functionality and determining solutions.
- Should be proactive and ensure task is completed as per expectations
- Excellent presentation and communication skills and a very good ability to interact with and command the respect of customers
