- Conducting forecast analysis for the Chinese market.
- Monitoring and forecasting marketing and sales trends.
- Implementing KPIs to measure and improve forecast quality.
- Developing and implementing advanced statistical forecast models.
- Analyzing consumer preferences to estimate potential sales of products or services.
- Conducting comprehensive market research to capture industry trends, competitor activities, and other relevant factors.
- Reviewing and analyzing business and industry data, including financial reports and key metrics using data analytics tools.
- Collaborating with Chinese management, business development, sales, finance, marketing, and other cross functional teams.
- At least 6 years of Forecast Analyst experience in a global public company.
- Specific Industry Experience in the Auto Industry, or Tier 1 – an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree from a leading university in Economics, Data Science, Industrial and Management Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with proven track records.
- Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with software and tools such as SQL, Python, R – an advantage.
- Process oriented, well organized, self driven, and quick learner.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Fluent in Chinese and English (written and spoken).
