- Designing engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contractual specification creating or reviewing engineering drawings, specifications and plans required by manufacturing, fabrication or construction contributing to design reviews and design verification, modifies design, as necessary
- Contributing to preparation of specific aspects of design assignments to meet the contractual obligations, while adhering to relevant standards, safety and quality participating in project meetings and presents specific aspects of design assignments
- Contributing and sharing experiences in workshops pertaining to engineering design, tools and processes Shares best practices Lessons-Learned documentation across different projects Using standard processes and tools, assists in developing new processes and tools for reuse of technical solutions
- Supporting technical risk assessments and implements resulting actions for one's projects Reports any contract / safety / quality / program / cost issues to Project Manager(s) for resolution
- Ensuring Bill of Material (BOM) for the project meets contractual obligations and project gross margin requirements by not generating Project Left-Over Material (PLOM) Identifying and implementing variation requests to support contract claims based on the approval from Project Manager
- Following work plans and cost estimates provided by the Project Manager and ensuring quality deliverables on time and at targeted cost
- Collaborating with the Supply Chain function and the Project Manager(s) to meet the contractual requirements
- Coordinating with Manufacturing and Testing functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured/staged and tested Updates the engineering deliverables as-built
- Bachelor & above, with good electrical/mechanical knowledge, master is preferred
- 2 years' working experience in similar area;
- Good English skill, CET-4 & above;

As a Designer for Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China, you will be responsible for creating and modifying the standard designs of equipment, systems or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication or construction for assignments classified as low to medium complexity by applying standard design concepts.
