- Drive marketing effectiveness in branding planning and execution
- Lead marketing capabilities development to support GSK fast growing business and future strategic directions
- Effectively localize and embed launch framework, monitor and empower launch leaders for success launch.
- Lead and inspire the China business to accelerate the innovation in marketing strategy
- Lead company marketing capabilities assessment and marketing training curriculum design for both central and regional marketing team. Ensure marketing capabilities uplift to the right level to support GSK fast growing business requirement and future strategic directions.
- Drive marketing brand planning process by leading brand team working mechanism and enabling brand ownership and cross-function collaboration, to build "line of sight" brand strategy with enhanced brand plan framework, and brand operational plan with a set of KPI tracking, and ensure clear understanding of "know-how"
- Enable Omnichannel marketing capabilities to embed in customer engagement of brand planning and execution.
- Lead to design marketing capabilities training programs and workshop to shape core marketing capabilities. Leverage digital learning solution for marketing excellence training.
- Inspire marketing talents through innovative design of "lunch & learn", marketing awards, marketing day;
- Proactively working with global/academy to leverage best practices and resources.
- Embed and optimize China Rx launch excellence process and improve launch capabilities.
- Localize & develop China launch excellence framework based on APJEM framework and China local situation for innovation products.
- Ensure launch readiness: lead China new product launch kick off and work with launch leaders to deliver launch planning and launch readiness check, and ensure launch process management;
- Support brand owner for launch optimization. Develop and provide launch optimization dashboard, workshop to track post launch performance to management; help launch team to identify key issue and provide recommendation on course corrective action;
- Leverage industry best practice and information sharing globally by working closely with global/Academy launch excellence team.
- Bachelor degree, MBA will be a plus
- At least 10 years experience in MNC pharmaceutical marketing; A strong knowledge and experience in brand strategy, brand management, prior new product launch experience will be a plus
- Experience delivering solutions to meet customers' needs is essential, preferably with healthcare professionals, through insights, analysis and innovation
- Strong strategic thinking skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong ability to network and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience managing 3rd party providers and vendors to achieve business objectives
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) in both Chinese and English and relevant technical language
