    Job Overview

    As a Principal Technician at Infineon Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our testing machinery and coordinating test activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ownership of Test Operations: You will be the primary contact for maintaining the health of test floor machinery and coordinating test operations.
    • 24/7 Support: Provide continuous support for test operations, focusing on tester setup, troubleshooting, and performing minor repairs and preventive maintenance.
    • Problem Solving: Utilize your troubleshooting skills to independently resolve known issues.
    • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within an integrated team to enhance tool availability and improve process yield.
    • Yield Management: Assist in addressing low test yields that impact shipments and deliveries, collaborating with Product Engineering and Test Development Engineering.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Maintain effective communication and relationships with both internal and external partners.
    • Performance Metrics: Collaborate with engineers to achieve critical equipment KPIs, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and yield rates.
    • Data Collection: Support engineers in conducting machine buy-offs and completing data collection tasks.
    • Knowledge Sharing: Document key learnings and share insights with fellow technicians.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in testing, machine maintenance, and sustaining operations, with familiarity in specific test equipment structures.
    • Ability to independently troubleshoot machines, perform preventive maintenance, and manage conversions.
    • Basic proficiency in English reading skills.
    • Quick learning ability and adaptability.
    • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
