Job Description:

We're seeking a dedicated Psychology Teacher to join our team at a prestigious international school located in Jiangsu Province, China.

• Deliver a weekly timetable of lessons as assigned by the Head of Department or Whole School Director.
• Ensure compliance with all professional standards outlined in the school's Teaching and Learning Policy.
• Monitor students' academic progress through necessary assessments.
• Generate termly student reports and participate in parent conferences per the school calendar.
• Contribute to boarding house supervision on a rotating basis, including weekends.
• Engage in the CCA program by organizing or assisting with student activities on a weekly basis.
• Participate in residential expeditions lasting up to a week both domestically and internationally.
• Attend extracurricular events, parent information sessions, and community functions as needed.
• Represent the school at official gatherings as required.
• Adhere to teaching assignments designated by the Head of Department.
• Set a positive example in professional conduct and uphold the school's vision.
• Support the school's vision and ensure alignment among students, staff, and parents.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to inspire others and embody the school's vision statement of Leadership for a better world.
• Familiarity with Chinese cultural norms and willingness to learn the Mandarin/Chinese National curriculum.
• For Chinese Nationals, proficiency in both Chinese and English languages.
