    Job Description

    H&M Production is the place where design ideas are transformed into actual products. We are in over 20 sourcing markets and are the direct point of contact for local suppliers. We work to ensure our products are of good quality and produced at the best price and in a sustainable way.

    As a Business Controller at H&M Production, you will partner with managers in sustainability team for Climate and Nature and Senior Business Controller, to co-create goals and activities that give directions to the teams on all areas related to Climate, Water and Chemical.

    You use data driven insights to bring direction and clarity to the business teams to secure the right focus on our objectives and key results.

    You drive business results by securing quality of data, along with being able to respond in an agile way to any changes in the business landscape. You collaborate with different stakeholders from value stream, production groups and regional and global sustainability for taking strategy to execution.

    You build analytical tools, set and define KPIs to support and closely monitor Climate and Nature related activities and goals with important stakeholders.

    You are an active driver in setting data flows and optimizing data quality to secure results for Climate, Water and Chemicals.

    In this role you will work with stakeholders across the globe and play a key role in driving the agenda regarding sustainability in both short and long term.

    Key responsibilities:

  • Drive goals for Climate, Water and Chemicals by current results forecasts
  • Support data management
  • Develop analytical tools and KPIs to support decision making.
  • Collaborate with various functions to drive optimization.

    To succeed as a Business Controller , you proactively identify business opportunities and risks through analysis, so that we can take appropriate actions.     We are looking for you who:

  • Have 3-5 years of experience as a Business Controller, Business Analysts or similar.
  • Have a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Sustainability or similar.
  • Have advanced knowledge in Excel, Power BI or other Data Visualization tools.
  • Work independently and take own initiatives.
  • Have creative analytical skills and is good at prioritizing.
  • Have a strategic mind and is good at identifying new opportunities.
  • Have experience from informal leadership in a global environment.

    • Additional Information

    This is a fulltime permanent position, starting as soon as possible according to agreement. The role is an on-site position, based in our office in Shanghai, China.
