Key Responsibilities

• Conduct the HS code classification and be capable to manage classification via Integration Point and sub systems for daily classification operations.
• Align HTS code and Description (both EN and CN) with external-SP/Brokers and internal//GTC team member and global counterpart to facilitate the Global operations.
• Able to question on existing procedure and provide better solutions for improving, as well as assist in working with respective stakeholders to improve classification procedure and other trade compliance processes.
• Collect the regulations and notifications from related government agencies for team's due diligence analysis, focusing on Customs valuation, FTA, bonded operations, classification, exotics, sample, any customs, and trade related matters, etc.
• By working with the other stakeholders to facilitate the global markets import and export customs compliance and any related customs & trade compliance activities.
• To research and develop the solutions of supply chain optimization and efficiency in a trade complaint way and support any special customs & trade compliance activities for Tapestry's expansion.
• To oversee and monitor the free trade agreement operations to ensure the necessary certification and documentation are accurate to complete the import clearance to allow Tapestry to enjoy duty saving benefits by working with the customs brokers and other key stakeholders like Logistics and P&L, etc.
• To assist setting up the Duty Saving KPI according to the established Tapestry model and support to manage each SP KPI and provide feedback to suppliers and the management team based on KPI results to promote better performance.
• To establish policy, procedure, and guideline to allow internal and external stakeholders to follow, to enhance the success and compliance of the duty saving and China import declaration and clearance.
