YOUR ROLE

• The Business & Demand Planning Manager holdsa key position in our supply chain team, responsible for forecasting andensuring accurate predictions of product demand (important demand signal forthe following supply chain activities incl. production and purchase). This roleinvolves utilizing data analysis, market insights, and collaborative efforts workingwith the commercial teams to generate precise demand forecasts.
• Responsibilities
  
  
• Lead and mentor a team of demand planners, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment.
  
• Provide guidance on day-to-day operations and contribute to team development.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for demand forecasting.
  
• Utilize demand planning tools and models to analyze historical data and market trends for accurate forecasting.
  
• Generate and maintain demand forecasts, adjusting predictions based on changing market conditions and the updated Sales & Marketing assumptions.
  
• Work closely with the supply planning team to ensure inventory levels align with demand forecasts.
  
• Monitor and communicate potential inventory shortages or excesses, providing recommendations for resolution.
  
• Analyze and report on key performance indicators (forecast accuracy & bias) to drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes.

YOUR SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree or above in supply chain management / logistics management / business management.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience in demand planning, FMCG industry preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English written and speaking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI as a plus.
• ERP and SAP system operations, APO experience preferred.
