- Transmission Development - Collaborate with control engineers, platform teams, product support and operators. Work with key team member develop valid test requirement and test plan base on master project plan.
- Develop transmission development goals that meet design criteria and performance requirements.
- Collect qualified test data to run analysis and perform tuning accordingly to achieve performance target. Create and deliver technical reports including describing clutch fill work, shifting performance.
- Communicate technical information to customers and internal technical leadership and management.
- Collaborate with a global team across multiple functional areas.
- Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Extensive understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Analytical Thinking: Extensive knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Clear verbal and written English communication skills.
- Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
- Education: Bachelors Degree in an accredited engineering curriculum
- Technical knowledge and experience in transmission hardware, clutch design, transmission oil system and development: testing, calibration, simulation, controls, or design
- Experience of CANape/ATI Vision or other similar software, test data analyzing, writing engineering reports or certification documentation
- Demonstrated ability to make priority decisions while working multiple projects simultaneously.
- Master's degree (or higher) in an accredited engineering curriculum

Job summary:
This position will be responsible for managing the on-machine transmission development in test ground or customer existing application. The candidate will work closely with the transmission control / platform engineer, performance engineer, software engineer and operations to collect on-machine data to verify transmission key feature function, clutch control logic and shift control performance and perform parameter optimize accordingly to ensure acceptable machine performance meets PQVC requirements.
