- Operate all essential rubber processing equipment, mainly include mixer, extruder, open mill, compression molding press, specimen cutting press...
- Hands-on rubber compound mixing, calendaring, curing, cutting and sample preparation work according to standard operation process.
- Plans and conducts experimental work to safely meet objectives and timeline.
- Management of experimental raw materials, such as NR/SBR/BR, carbon black, silica, antioxidant, accelerant, etc.
- Equipment management work
- Conduct preventive maintenance of responsible equipment.
- Trouble-shoot problems related to rubber mixing and processing equipment. Find root cause and propose actionable improvement. May work with external vendors.
- Equipment annual maintenance and calibration work. May work with external vendors.
- Generate test reports, including test results, preliminary analysis and conclusion. Requirements
- High school degree or college degree in chemical or related field.
- Understanding of rubber compounding, laboratory equipment, testing methods and safety practices.
- Strong hand-on skill.
- Ability to observe, analyze and solve problems during routine job.
- Ability to draw conclusions from experimental work and propose method to improve.
- Basic English reading and written skill is a plus.
