Our team Logistics Planning Shunyi is responsible to plan and implement all Logistics-related processes for new vehicles and series projects in Shunyi plant. Together with our partners we enable the growing production volume, handle the increasing complexity and continuously improve efficiency.

For our next planned vehicle in Shunyi factory we are searching for a highly motivated Logistics Planning Engineer. Your future tasks as part of our team are:

• Logistics body shop planning for GLE integration into Shunyi plant.

• Planning, evaluating and optimizing of logistics (process, equipment, manpower, IT-systems) for vehicle projects in alignment with counterparts from other departments.

• Specification of equipment, tracking the purchasing process, communications with supplier and purchasing department.

• Implementation of logistics concepts, standards, processes and equipment in alignment with counterparts from other departments.

• Implementation of Lean Production principles, New Lean Concept and continuous improvement philosophy.

• Drive continuous improvement. Analyze weak points, identify and implement improvement measures.

• Prepare RFQs and support the bidding process for new LSPs or process changes.

• Daily operations on requirements for updated parts level, implementation, material routing and process changes and optimization until end of ramp-up phase.

Qualifikationen

Active personality, hardworking, willingness to learn. Good at logical thinking, teamwork and time management in an international and multi-cultural environment.

Rich experiences in logistics planning for overall systems, ramp-up a serious production in complex organizations, cost optimizations, project management and implementations of logistic processes and equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Automobile Engineering or similar education.
Skills in MS Office and presentations, especially in Word/Excel/PPT.
Fluent in English speaking/ reading/ writing/ listening.
