- Design and implement tailored Jira workflows to support various business processes, ensuring efficiency and streamlining project lifecycles.
- Strategically utilize Jira assets (boards, filters, dashboards, etc.) to enhance data organization, reporting, and visibility.
- Architect and develop end-to-end systems within and connected to the Atlassian ecosystem, promoting a cohesive environment.
- Develop sophisticated automation rules to reduce manual tasks and improve process reliability within Jira projects.
- Implement API integrations with third-party systems, extending Jira's capabilities and facilitating data sharing across platforms.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation of workflows, automation, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot issues, provide user support, and actively contribute to continuous improvement of the Jira environment.
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. - Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

- 3 - 5 years of experience as a Jira Administrator or Jira Engineer.
- Proven experience in designing and customizing complex Jira workflows, schemes, and projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Jira assets (, boards, filters, dashboards, reports).
- Experience in systems design and architecture concepts.
- Proficient with automation within Jira, including scripting languages (, JQL, Groovy, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience integrating Jira with third-party systems via APIs (REST and SOAP preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Atlassian certifications (ACP, etc) are a plus (Optional).

Job Role
We are seeking a skilled Jira Engineer to optimize our workflow processes and system integrations within the Atlassian product suite.
The ideal candidate will be able to design complex workflows, leverage Jira assets effectively, architect end-to-end systems and implement automation rules and API connections to external systems.
