In order to realize the mission of New Horizon project organization in Atlas Copco (Wuxi) to establish a Project related SHE management regulations, continuous improvement and legal compliance, to support company sustainable productivity, we are looking for a Project SHE Specialist.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Legal compliance: Identify the needs of necessary permits and get them approved from local authority before we start the project to make sure we fully meet legal requirements, which including but not limit to EIA (Environment Impact Assessment), SA (Safety Assessment), OHA (Occupational & Health Assessment) and so on. Join the design review and share the inputs from SHE point of view to make sure the design meets the legal requirements on SHE part. you need to coordinate with the EPCM and LDI.

2. Project Supervision: Sampling check the high risky jobs and the technical files, witness the installation of SHE related facilities (Air emission, Fire-fighting system, drainage system...), join the fly audit from local bureaus as needed.

3. Acceptance phase: Join the acceptance tasks of SHE related facilities.

4. Trial run phase: Track the working condition of SHE related facilities, Collect and store all SHE related documentation for future use. Summarize the SHE performance and share the best practice to other projects.

5. Setup the overall waste reduction and recycling plan for the new facilities operation to work on the group goals towards a circular economy.

6. Other tasks assigned by Leaders.

Experience requirements

1. Around 8-10 years work in EHS function in multinational company.

2. Familiar with project management. Can handle the project individually.

3. Familiar with legal and other requirements.

4. Have experience of SHE management system like ISO, GB, ISO. ISO energy management experience is a plus.

Knowledge / Educational requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Safety Management, electrical, mechanical, chemical, Environment management.

2. National registered safety engineer or Environment appraisal engineer is a plus.

Personality requirements:

1. Good English both oral and written.

2. Responsibility ownership, Positive thinking, good team player and initiate solutions to challenge.

3. Good communication skill, good teamwork.

4. Good computer skill and operation, Microsoft Office etc.
