Your ‘day to day’ You will be employed in Shenzhen, China. We are looking for a Engineer - Reverse Engineering to provide critical support for the execution of projects and coordinate activities for competitors’ product assessments. You will work in a research laboratory to evaluate product, perform analyses and tests, and report valuable outcomes. The position is accountable for executing the defined assessment plan and consolidating data and results. The person will be accountable to collect and ensure appropriate storage of product data and information in dedicated repository. Responsibilities•Perform various product analysis activities covering electronics, mechanics, temperature and aerosol measurements •Execute reverse engineering activities to ensure deadlines as well as communication and progress visibility•Support and follow up the procurement and inventory of all the material required by the projects•Ensure the availability of any special hardware & software needed to perform the required analysis and maintain all equipment used•Execute and coordinate the different internal/external Lab activities•Generate assessment reports based on the collected data for supervisor’s or experts’ review•Ensure that all the data results are properly stored in dedicated repository•Exploit the data and provide a first level of interpretation•Build and maintain knowledge on reverse engineering processes by creating the proper documentation•Recommend improvements to reverse engineering process to enrich analysis and/or reduce cost/time Who we’re looking for•Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Physics•At least 3-7 years of experience (preferably in an international environment)•Proven experience in Electronics field•Strong understanding of the key processes in technology development •Creative to solve complex problems using innovative approaches•Good project management capability (PBO oriented)•Hands on & agile approach, interested in Laboratory work•Dynamic, curious and eager to learn•Ease of teamwork and multitasking •Professional level of written and spoken English•Good IT Skills, MS Office Philip Morris International: Delivering a Smoke-Free Future Philip Morris International (PMI) is a leading international tobacco company engaged in the manufacture and sale of cigarettes, smoke-free products and associated electronic devices and accessories, and other nicotine-containing products in over 180 markets.
