JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary Process Consultants work in dynamic, team-oriented environments where they define internal business process issues, compile information and analyze data in order to present solutions to our clients. Protiviti works with audit executives, management and audit committees to assist them with their internal audit activities. We help CFOs strengthen their finance functions through improved financial and reporting processes. Our project teams also help clients manage regulatory compliance, as well as credit, market and operational risk. Process Consultants develop an understanding of business processes, build technical skills in general risk areas, and help our clients review, document, evaluate and test controls. The primary Solutions for entry-level Process Consultants include: Finance and Accounting Excellence IFRS Enterprise Risk Management Internal Audit and Financial Controls Quality Assurance Reviews Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Risk and Compliance Market and Commodity Risk Anti-Money Laundering Process Consultants have the opportunity to work in a variety of Solutions offerings, providing them with broad experiences and opportunities. This may include work in other Solutions, such as: Litigation, Restructuring and Investigative Services, Information Technology Effectiveness and Control, and Cost and Working Capital Optimization. As Consultants progress in their careers, the focus shifts from gaining transferable experience to specializing in an industry or Solution. Qualifications: Currently, we are seeking highly motivated individuals who meet the following criteria. Degree MBA, master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance). A core curriculum of business courses, including accounting coursework, is strongly preferred. Minimum GPA of 3.0 overall, 3.0 major. Must work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Must possess excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Must have a desire to learn and a receptiveness to feedback and mentoring. Must have an interest in finance and accounting processes as they relate to the overall business environment. Ability to Travel The position requires travel to client sites. Consultants must have reliable transportation to and from local client sites. Out-of-town travel also may be required.
