We are looking for a new colleague in Division P at our location of Shanghai

Your task

  • Performing of Supplier Readiness Process with suppliers, i.e. Sourcing support, Technical review, APQP gate review, Safe launch planning and execution.
  • Support of the supplier admission and release process of the division, execution of VDA6.3 audits at suppliers and Run@Rates
  • Evaluation, supervision and optimization of production and inspection methods of suppliers
  • Definition and driving of product specific targets concerning quality, cost and time in a team together with development, planning, purchasing and supplier
  • Technical support of incoming inspection and production site in case of product deviations

    • Your profile

  • Master degree or similar education level in mechanical engineering, i.e. in the field of production manufacturing, production engineering, material engineering or a comparable technical field is recommended
  • > 3 years practical experience in the field of manufacturing, inspection or planning of parts, preferably in automotive applications; knowledge of construction, production processes and quality assurance desired
  • Knowledge of sheet metal forming and wire forming. Knowledge in raw material manufacturing and heat treatment would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of relevant tools of VDA, AIAG, IATF16949, i.e. VDA6.3, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written), further languages in particular German would be an advantage. Strong communicator, high ability to work in team and under pressure, comprehensive thinking and acting, flexibility
