This is the Invention Age - and this is where you come in.Join Qualcomm Customer Engineering team and work with world leading Internet of Everything (Wearable / Smart Pos/ VR/ AR / IP Camera / Robotics) device makers to design, develop and launch exciting new Qualcomm MSM products. The Linux BSP Customer Engineer will work closely with Qualcomm customers to:-Understand customer requirements and designs-Analyze Linux kernel and Android userspace code-Co-develop custom solutions on Linux Android-Debug and resolve system level functional and stability issues
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
The candidate will collaborate with cross functional teams worldwide including chip, platform, product and software development teams to support customers during system design, board bring-up, continuous integration, stabilization, optimization, product launch and maintenance release stages. Prior experience in Qualcomm MSM products is preferred.-Excellent High level language (C, C++, Java) skills-Experience in software development on Mobile/Linux/Embedded platforms including compiling, linking, loading, executing and debugging firmware images-Prior experience on Linux Kernel 3.x/4.x-Experience in Security/Stability Architecture and issue debugging -Experience in 32-bit and 64-bit ARM Architecture and Assembly Programming-System level debugging with JTAG Trace 32 -Excellent written and verbal skills in English-Strong background in customer engagement, issue tracking and problem resolution
