POSITION SUMMARY

 
To Lead the Architecture work for all assigned AP China executed gasification projects, ensure Architecture design work executed smoothly in timely, cost effective and high-quality manner and support team goal of GEMTE gasification execution engineering & design team.
 
To perform either in house Architecture design or supervising the local design institute for Architecture design for all GEMTE executed gasification projects and providing as requested design support across the other countries. This position requires relative senior level of engineer who is able to perform the required Architecture design responsibilities and provide proper judgement in reviewing third parties’ Architecture design drawing. The job holder is also expected to provide Architectural design and construction material estimation in supporting to PDE and support CSA team infrastructure building work as required.
 
To fulfill the requirements of the position the job holder must develop collaborative working relationships with GEMTE members (within region and global), Operations, Procurement, Technology and EPC Company as contractor for the project.
 
 
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
 
 

Lead and perform Architecture design for the Pre-FEED/BED of Gasification projects in China and the Pre-FEED/BED/DED of gaisification projects in other countries.

 
 

Well understand of international and national Architecture industry standard/code.

 
 

Prepare and finish all the Architectural design documents and drawings, including design specification; layout, elevation, section, detailed drawings and joint drawings; Architectural energy efficiency calculation; Architectural rendering drawings; MTO & MR for subcontract requisition, etc.

 
 

Prepare and finish the Architectural documents according to local authorities’ requirements.

 
 

Has strong communication & inter disciplinary coordination skills, working with process, civil, electrical, instrument and piping discipline, and exchange design condition during work process.

 
 

Review and approve other Architectural engineer’s design work.

 
 
 

Support project proposal estimation, project execution, construction QA/QA, as built drawing, initiate Architectural design changes as necessary.

 
 

Site construction support.

 
 

Support CSA team leader on infrastructure building, including lesson learn sharing, technical issues solving, and low-cost design initiatives and coaching junior engineering/designers.

Lead the creation and maintenance of Architectural key work processes and engineering standards to ensure that competitive and safe design of projects on a global basis.
 
 

Lead problem solving on significant Architectural issues as expertise.

 
 

Other tasks required by the company when necessary.

 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
 

Minimum 12 years work experience in Architecture design for Gasification, Coal Chemical, Oil and Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical related industry with China Design Institute or Engineering Company.

 
 

Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or related disciplines.

 
 

Working level for both written and spoken English.

 
 

Be familiar with Chinese building design codes, local standards as well as international standards and common used practice.

 
 

Job Incumbent is expected to have overseas project experience.

 
 

Be skilled in design software like AutoCAD, Photoshop, SP3D, etc.

 
 

Registered Architectural engineer is preferred.
