Job Description

Define & refine motor & motor drive’s boundary & constraint, based on input from application/product departments.

- Conduct technology scouting based on Power Tool context, work with experts on topic of “next generation E motor & E motor drive”.

- Convert new drive chain topology ideas to engineering concepts, drawings, prototypes, ultimately products or equipment’s with clear technical differentiation.

- Share technical insight, & support motor application engineer for ongoing development projects. Support problem solving & technical reviews with expertise.

Qualifications

A university Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automation Engineering or related technical discipline; or proven experience of brushless motor technology development.

- Good English written and verbal communication skills; Result oriented working attitude. Strong organization and planning personality;

- Familiar with Pro/E, or similar E- sketching tool, with experience of whole set drawing handling;

- Master of any motor design software (e.g. Ansys/Maxwell),

- [Preferred] able to proceed motor control circuit analysis, or experienced on embedded software (e.g. #C),

- [Preferred] familiar of one mechanical, fluent/thermal computing software, especially Matlab/Simulink for model based development.
