    As a Project Manager for Process Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China, you will be responsible for leading the execution of medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitment.

    Project Operations Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources in order to accomplish all project goals
    • Providing performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects
    • Ensuring compliance to relevant cyber security regulations, standards, and contractual requirements
    • Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow
    • Identifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing project risks and ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued
    • Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and acknowledgement by the customer all in accordance with the contract
    • Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements
    • Coordinating with Supply Chain Management and successfully procures required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers

    Your background

    • Technical Education, Bachelor's Degree or above and major in Engineering with subject of Electrical or Mechanical or other relevant Industrial Engineering fields
    • 3+ years of work experience in project management or sales engineering
    • Analytical decision making and problem-solving skills are mandatory requirements, as well as ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and work under pressure
    • PMP certificate or ABB internal PM certified
    • Professional level ability with MS Office tools and experience in SAP
    • Fluent in Mandarin and English, both oral and written
    • Must be willing to travel
